- Technical Officer 1/3 – Salary from $78, 000 up to $120,478 per annum (FTE) plus super and leave loading - commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience*

About the Role

This role offers a great chance for a science-focused professional who enjoys being hands-on with sophisticated laboratory equipment while ensuring every result meets strict NATA ISO/IEC 17025 standards. You will be working with a team of skilled analytical laboratory analysts preparing and testing a diverse range of samples. Beyond the lab bench, you’ll be a vital link for our clients, assisting in managing their accounts and providing the timely, accurate insights they rely on.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

- Experience in a NATA-accredited lab and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Ability to maintain lab equipment and record data with high integrity.
- Commitment to customer service through timely sample and account management.
- Proficiency using LIMS and technology to manage data and accountability.

To be successful you must hold

- Relevant qualifications in accordance with Part 2 (xvii) of the Crown Employees (Department of Industry) Technical Staff Award
- A current NSW Driver Licence.

Interviews for this role will be conducted in person at Wagga Wagga Agricultural Institute – Pine Gully Rd.
