MEP Revit Drafter / Designer – Building Services

Location: Sydney NSW
Employment: Full-Time Contract | 6 Months+
Work Arrangement: Office-Based
Rate: $55–$65 per hour

Australian Drafting & Design is seeking an experienced MEP Revit Drafter / Designer for a full-time contract position with an established engineering and project delivery client in Sydney.

The role will suit a Revit professional with experience in building services, healthcare, laboratories, hospitals or other highly serviced environments , particularly those with strong experience in services coordination, piping/services layouts and multidisciplinary Revit modelling .

You will work closely with engineering and design teams to develop coordinated MEP documentation and Revit models across technically complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain MEP Revit models and documentation

- Prepare coordinated services layouts for mechanical, hydraulic, piping and other building services

- Model and coordinate pipework, ductwork, equipment and associated services

- Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural and other disciplines

- Assist with services coordination and clash detection/resolution

- Coordinate services within ceilings, plant rooms, risers and congested areas

- Interpret engineering drawings, mark-ups and design information

- Update Revit models throughout design and documentation stages

- Assist with multidisciplinary BIM coordination

- Prepare plans, sections, elevations, schematics and detailed services drawings

- Maintain project BIM, drafting and documentation standards

About You





We are looking for candidates with strong Revit MEP and building services experience .

Experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:

- MEP / Building Services

- Mechanical services / HVAC

- Piping / Pipework

- Hydraulic / Plumbing services

- Electrical services

- BIM / Services Coordination

- Healthcare or hospital projects

- Laboratory / cleanroom environments

You should have:

- Strong Autodesk Revit MEP skills

- Previous experience in building services, MEP drafting or multidisciplinary design

- Good understanding of services coordination and construction documentation

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and mark-ups

- Experience coordinating services within complex or highly serviced buildings

- Strong attention to detail

- Good communication and coordination skills

- Australian working rights

Highly Regarded

Experience working on:

- Hospitals and healthcare facilities

- Medical centres

- Laboratories and cleanrooms

- Pharmaceutical facilities

- Advanced manufacturing facilities

- Other technically complex and highly serviced buildings

Experience with Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM coordination and clash detection will also be advantageous.
