Task & responsibilities

- Installation of plasterboard (gyprock) to walls and ceilings.
- Setting, jointing, sanding, and finishing.
- Corner installation and finishing.
- Patch repairs and maintenance work.
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting plasterboard sheets according to building plans and specifications.




- Applying wet plaster, compounds, and adhesives to walls, ceilings, and partitions.
- Preparing and cleaning surfaces prior to plastering and finishing work.
- Erecting and using ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely on construction sites.
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings, measurements, and specifications to determine plastering requirements.

- Setting, Jointing, Sanding and Finishing Skills.
- Cornice Installation and Finishing Skills.
- Plaster Repair, Patching and Maintenance Skills.
- Wet Plaster, Compound and Adhesive Application Skills.
- Surface Preparation and Finishing Skills.
- Construction Drawings, Equipment Handling and Workplace Safety Skills.
