Psi Balance Psychological Services is looking for a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Psychology Registrar to join our established practice in North Lakes.

We are looking for the right person rather than simply filling a position. Whether you are an experienced psychologist looking for greater professional autonomy, or a Clinical Registrar wanting to develop your skills in a supportive private‑practice environment, we would be very happy to hear from you.

About the role

You will work with a varied adult caseload drawn from our established referral networks. Referrals include private and GP-referred clients, veterans through DVA, NDIS participants and clients referred through other professional and compensable pathways.

There is considerable scope to shape your caseload around your interests and experience.

We welcome generalist psychologists and do not expect applicants to arrive with expertise in every area in which the practice works. Experience or an interest in trauma, PTSD, veterans' mental health, neurodiversity or complex presentations would be particularly welcome.

About you

You will:

- Hold general registration with AHPRA, or be eligible for full registration;
- Be a generally registered Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Psychology Registrar;
- Value ethical, evidence-based and client-centred psychological practice;
- Be comfortable working independently while also enjoying having experienced colleagues available for consultation; and
- Bring professionalism, warmth and a sense of humour to the workplace.

We are equally interested in hearing from experienced clinicians and psychologists earlier in their careers.

Clinical Registrars

Clinical Psychology Registrars are very welcome to apply.

We can provide supervision toward Clinical Psychology endorsement, together with exposure to a broad range of presentations and the chance to develop your clinical confidence and professional identity within private practice.
