We're seeking a Team Leader - Library Technology to lead the delivery of critical technology services across the Country North Regional Library network. This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic planning, people leadership, project delivery and emerging technologies in a role that directly enhances how communities access information, learning and digital experiences.

The Team Leader - Library Technology is responsible for leading the team that provides:

- Strategic technology advice and recommendations to the Manager Learning Communities;
- Development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Library Technology Plan;
- Management and optimisation of the Integrated Library Management System;
- Leadership of technology hardware and software support services across the library network;
- Technology training, mentoring and support for staff and library customers;
- Preparation of business cases, reports and presentations for the CNRL Committee and senior stakeholders;
- Identification, evaluation and implementation of cutting-edge technologies that enhance library services and operations;
- Management of reporting, analytics and automated monthly performance statistics;
- Support and development of Innovation Studio and Makerspace programs that showcase emerging technologies and digital learning opportunities;
- Planning and delivery of technology projects, system upgrades and future technology initiatives across the CNRL region.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

- Degree in Information Technology, Information Management or a related discipline
- NSW Driver Licence
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance

IDEALLY YOU WILL ALSO BRING

- Demonstrated experience leading or supervising teams and developing staff capability;
- Strong experience managing business-critical systems, technology projects and service improvements;




- Experience implementing system upgrades, technology refresh programs and digital transformation initiatives;
- The ability to translate technical information into practical solutions and strategic recommendations for stakeholders;
- Experience planning, prioritising and delivering multiple projects and competing priorities;
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and a passion for identifying opportunities to improve customer and staff experiences;

Salary range: Grade 16 - $93,519.65 - $101,195.12 per annum plus superannuation for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
