Technical Field Engineer (Baseline Security Clearance)

We are seeking a Sr Tech Field Engineer to join our team and provide expert onsite technical support to large and complex client environments across Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on professional who thrives in customer‑facing roles and enjoys working with a wide range of technologies.

Key responsibilities

As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients' systems and infrastructure operate at peak performance. Your responsibilities will include:

- Installing, repairing, and maintaining hardware and software solutions at client sites
- Performing server and storage break‑fix support, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
- Managing onsite service activities from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues
- Conducting installations, upgrades, and system maintenance in customer environments
- Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and technical expertise to resolve complex technical challenges
- Providing technical guidance and support to fellow engineers and team members




- Identifying recurring issues and recommending process and service improvements
- Maintaining accurate documentation, reporting, and service records
- Building solid customer relationships through exceptional service delivery and communication

You will be successful in this role if you have:

- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in Field Engineering, Desktop Support, Infrastructure Support, or a related technical role
- Experience with hardware maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and customer‑facing technical support
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a broader technical team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Technical certification or Associate Degree preferred

Mandatory Requirements:

- Active Australian Security Clearance (Baseline) is required
