What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work with older adults and NDIS participants in their homes to:

- Conduct comprehensive home safety and functional assessments for clients in your local area!

- Recommend and prescribe equipment and home modifications

- Deliver manual handling advice and falls prevention education

- Provide NDIS services , including AT applications, SIL/SDA assessments, capacity-building therapy, and functional reports

What a Typical Day Looks Like

- Start by checking your daily visits and packing any tools or equipment.

- Travel to your first client’s home, provide therapy or assessments, and recommend solutions to promote safety and independence.

- Complete notes and reports during the day to stay on top of your documentation.

- Connect with your colleagues online or in person to share ideas and support.

- End your day feeling fulfilled, knowing you’ve made a real difference.

What We’re Looking For

- Occupational Therapy degree

- AHPRA Registration (or pending outcome)

- NDIS Worker Check (or willing to apply)

- Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance

- Current Driver’s Licence + access to your own vehicle
