Sylvs Italian is opening a new venue and seeking an experienced bartender to join the opening team. The bar will be at the heart of the Sylvs experience — a place for great drinks, warm hospitality, lively conversation and memorable nights. You will help shape a brand-new venue from the very beginning, work alongside a passionate team and play a key role in creating the Sylvs bar experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, attentive and personable bar service
- Make confident cocktails with robust knowledge of classic cocktails, techniques, spirits and flavour profiles
- Connect with guests, make recommendations and talk enthusiastically about drinks offering
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and bar organisation
- Stay calm,
efficient and professional during busy services
- Support the restaurant floor when needed
About you
- Strong bartending experience in quality, fast-paced venues
- Exceptional cocktail knowledge and confident cocktail-making skills
- Genuine passion for cocktails, spirits, wine and hospitality
- Warm, energetic and genuine personality
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency
- Team-first attitude and willingness to support the restaurant floor when needed
- Availability across weeknights and weekends
