Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager of our Rosebery Oxford Outlet is a key leadership position responsible for supporting the day-to-day success of the store. You will work closely with the Store Manager to maximise sales performance, develop the team, maintain operational excellence and ensure the Oxford customer experience is delivered consistently. This role will suit an experienced Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager or Senior Retail Sales Leader who is ready to step up, take ownership and continue developing their leadership capability.

Key responsibilities

- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, KPIs and financial objectives
- Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer experiences and premium service
- Coach, develop and motivate team members to reach their full potential
- Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing team development
- Assist with store operations including rostering, stock control and compliance
- Maintain Oxford's high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation
- Step into store leadership responsibilities when required
- Build strong relationships with customers, team members and the wider business

About you

- Previous experience in an Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager or senior retail leadership role
- Experience within fashion, premium retail, menswear, womenswear, lifestyle or customer-focused retail environments




- A solid commercial mindset with a proven ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs
- The ability to coach, motivate and develop a team to achieve exceptional results
- Confidence supporting store operations including rostering, stock management and compliance
- Strong visual merchandising skills and a passion for brand presentation
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities
- A customer-first mindset with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service
- A positive, proactive approach with the ability to support and influence the wider store team
