About the Role – Residential Care Officer

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Assisting residents with personal care, hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Supporting mobility and daily living activities
- Providing emotional support, companionship, and social engagement
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding when required
- Supporting residents with daily routines and independence goals




- Performing light household duties such as cleaning and maintaining living spaces
- Assisting with community participation and outings
- Ensuring a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all residents
- Building positive skilled relationships with residents, families, and care teams

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in aged care, disability support, or residential care
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care / Disability / Community Services) or equivalent qualification
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (if required)
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Modules
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and professional approach to care
