Reporting to the Line Manager you will work in a team environment and play a vital role to ensure that a high standard of quality work is achieved on time, consistently and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

- Installation of pipe and hose assemblies, fittings and valves
- Installation of appliances (e.g. heater units, cooktops and generators etc.)

Gas testing and signing off

- Test pipes for leakages using water and air pressure gauges
- Connection end testing of water pipes
- Train production staff in correct techniques and standards of installation
- Ensure task and work instructions are up to date and accurate
- Ensuring the quality and integrity of a protected gas installation is achieved and completed
- Adherence to the ADR (Australian Design Rules)
- Adhere to WH&S; standards at all times

About you

- Certificate IV in Plumbing




- Minimum of 3+ years experience as a qualified Plumber
- Holding a valid Gas Testing Ticket is essential
- Strong mentoring skills would be highly regarded
- Ability to use a range of hand / power tools
- Quality focused with high work ethic
- Ability to time manage and work off a schedule
- Enjoys practical and physical work
- Enjoys work in a fast-paced environment
- A strong team player
- Work in a great productive team environment
- Early Friday finish
