Work Type: Casual / Ongoing Shifts/ Regular Shift Patterns
Pay Rate: $39-$49/hour

This role offers monthly rosters based on your availability, along with a structured onboarding program, buddy shifts and paid training so you feel supported from day one - plus hand-on clinical experience support a our male client, who is living in a homecare setting with a complex spinal cord injury.

The Role: Disability Support Worker
- Manual Handling (Hoist)
- Personal care
- Medication administration
- Bowel Care management
- Have knowledge of Autonomic Dysreflexia
- Domestic assistance
- Light household duties & meal preparation
- Continuous clinical assessment of client
- Personal care including skin integrity management and pressure area care
- Support the client with activities at home and out in the community
What You'll Bring
- Previous Spinal Cord Injury experience
- Manual handling experience (essential)
- Current accredited First aid and CPR
- NDIS Screening Clearance
- Manual handling certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Medication certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Minimum Certificate 3 in health care.
- Right to live and work within Australia
- Valid Australian Driver's License
