About the Role

Reporting to the Central Drainage and Structures Supervisor, this role supports the delivery of Council's infrastructure services through the productive and safe completion of operational activities, working closely with team members and internal stakeholders. This includes:

- Safely operating a range of major plant and equipment to deliver maintenance and minor construction works.
- Supporting and guiding team members to ensure the efficient delivery of Works & Services operations.
- Promoting a strong safety culture through compliance with legislation, Council policies, and risk management practices.
- Contributing to emergency response activities and operational priorities as required, including participation in after-hours call-back duties.

About You

To be successful in the position, you will have:

- School Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years' experience operating major plant and equipment
- Demonstrated experience in civil construction and/or maintenance activities
- Current White Card
- Current Class HR Driver Licence
- Proof of right to work in Australia
