First Aid Trainer & Assessor | $50–$60/hr | Casual or Contract

Significant Risk Solutions | Bega, NSW Significant Risk Solutions is looking for a** First Aid Trainer & Assessor** to join our growing training team in Bega. We’re looking for someone with genuine **first aid, nursing, medical, allied health, emergency services or similar ** who enjoys working with people and can bring their own knowledge and personality into the classroom. This is either a casual or contract position, with shifts planned up to six months in advance to provide flexibility and certainty around your availability.

The Role You will primarily deliver nationally recognised training in:

- HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID011 – Provide

First Aid

- HLTAID012 – Provide

First Aid in an education and care setting Most training is delivered from our purpose-built training facility in Bega, with opportunities to deliver courses throughout the region, including Merimbula, Cooma and surrounding areas. Our administration systems handle student bookings, enrolments and course processing, allowing you to focus on delivering great training.

We would particularly like to hear from applicants with backgrounds in nursing, healthcare, paramedicine, allied health, emergency services, rescue, defence or workplace safety.

What We Offer $50 per hour plus super for casual (or) $60 per hour for contract trainer.

How We Train We don’t want students simply sitting through another

First Aid course. Our focus is on practical, hands-on and scenario-based training that develops genuine confidence and prepares people to respond effectively in real-world emergencies. We aren’t looking for someone to simply read from a PowerPoint presentation.

We want a trainer who can engage a room, share relevant experience and make training enjoyable while maintaining professional and compliance standards. You’ll be supported with our systems, equipment and resources while having the freedom to bring your own experience and training style into the classroom. RTO Arrangements Significant Risk Solutions delivers nationally recognised training on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909).

The successful applicant will be required to meet applicable trainer and assessor requirements and obtain the necessary approval before independently delivering nationally recognised training on our behalf.
