MBG Solar is looking for reliable electricians who want to work hard, earn good money and build experience in large-scale renewable energy.

Electricians from domestic, commercial, industrial and construction backgrounds are encouraged to apply. You do not need solar farm experience or specialised knowledge. We're more interested in your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.

You'll typically work 11-hour days from Monday to Friday and 5 hours on Saturday; additional hours may also be available when project conditions allow.

Working arrangements will be discussed individually based on your availability and the requirements of each project. This is physical, outdoor work in regional and remote locations.

Electrician, Utility-Scale Solar Projects

The work

Your main responsibilities will include:





- Pulling 400mm2 DC cables through trenches

- Installing above-ground cable harnesses

- Handling, positioning and securing cables

- General solar farm electrical and construction work

This is hands-on, physically demanding work. You'll need to be comfortable working outdoors, handling heavy cables and contributing as part of a site team.

What we’re looking for

You may come from domestic, commercial, industrial or construction electrical work. Previous solar farm experience is not required.

You'll be a good fit if you:

What you'll need

- Current Australian electrical licence

- White Card

- Current driver's licence

- Good physical fitness
