Our client is an Australian success story with diversified interests in services and industrial space. They seek a Legal Counsel with expertise in Employment/IR to join the thriving in-house team and contribute to the business strategy and protection of the company's interests.

Responsibilities

- Advising on employment disputes relating to termination of employment, unfair dismissal, post-employment restraints, redundancy, and contractor agreements.
- Provide legal support to negotiate and draft enterprise bargaining agreements.
- Support strategic bargaining through benchmarking, trend assessment, and comparative analysis.

Qualifications





- 5-8+ years' experience in Employment/IR law (PQE considered from 5-8 years) with in-house or advisory backgrounds.
- Experience advising on employment relations and industrial relations matters; ability to contribute to strategy and risk management.
- Willingness to consider 4 days per week for suitable senior candidates.
- Eligible to work in Australia.
