We are seeking a construction Project Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for HVAC and BMS controls who thrives in a collaborative and high-performing workplace.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Manage electrical, mechanical and BMS projects from planning through to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a quality standard.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Review technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress, performance, costs and financial outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations and company procedures.
- Conduct site visits to oversee workmanship, quality and resolve technical issues.
- Lead client, stakeholder and project meetings, providing regular updates.
- Support commissioning activities and system performance verification.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, variations and handover packages.
- Promote WHS and HSEQ requirements and maintain a safe work environment.
- Support the training and development of team members and apprentices.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and subcontractors.
- Ensure accurate completion of administrative tasks and effective project communication.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and company training.
- Maintain project continuity through effective handovers and leave planning.

Skills & Experience

- Experience managing mechanical, electrical and building automation projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical and building automation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Strong planning,



organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent time management, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivated, reliable and committed to delivering quality outcomes.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships.
- White Card, Asbestos Awareness, Working with Asbestos and Silica Awareness certifications.

Travel

Opportunities for domestic and international travel may arise depending on project needs. While some projects involve regular travel, others are predominantly delivered from our Fyshwick, ACT office. Flexibility to travel when required is considered an advantage.
