Are you an experienced Foreman looking for your next contract opportunity in the Hunter/Maitland region? A well-established Tier 2 commercial and retail builder, based in Sydney with active projects across NSW, is seeking a hands-on Contract Foreman to lead site delivery on a commercial construction project in the Hunter/Maitland area.

About the Role

This is a contract position suited to a Foreman who thrives on-site, keeps trades accountable, and can run day-to-day construction activities on a commercial or retail build. You'll report to the Site/Project Manager and be responsible for the safe, efficient, and quality delivery of works on-site.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades in office
- Drive daily site operations, programming, and sequencing of works
- Maintain and update site records, diaries, and documentation via Procore
- Ensure compliance with WHS, quality, and site safety standards
- Liaise with the Project Manager, consultants, and client representatives




- Support toolbox talks, inductions, and site inspections
- Monitor progress against program and flag delays or risks early

About You

- Trade qualification in Carpentry or a Construction-related discipline (required)
- Working knowledge of Procore (required)
- Proven experience as a Foreman on commercial and/or retail construction projects (highly regarded)
- Solid understanding of NSW WHS requirements and site safety compliance
- Excellent communication and subcontractor management skills
- Based in or willing to work in the Hunter/Maitland region
- Current White Card and relevant NSW construction certifications
