Smile Team Orthodontics is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Mandarin and English-speaking Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. What You'll Need
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
- Customer service or phone experience
- A valid Australian driver's licence and reliable transport
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children's Check
- Up-to-date vaccination records

About the Role
As a Bilingual Orthodontic Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting both English and Mandarin-speaking patients throughout their orthodontic journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting our orthodontists in patient care while handling admin duties such as greeting patients, scheduling appointments, processing payments, maintaining records, and sterilising instruments.
- Assisting with patient consultations and treatment discussions
- Translating and explaining treatment information in Mandarin and English
- Building rapport and trust with patients and families
- Managing appointment scheduling and patient communications
- Following up with prospective and existing patients
- Working closely with our clinical team to ensure seamless patient care
- Helping patients understand financial arrangements and treatment options
The primary location is Burwood & Drummoyne and occasional shifts in Parramatta.
