Senior Dynamics CRM Software Engineer / Developer – Federal Government

ACT, NSW, VIC or QLD | Hybrid | Federal Government Contract | EL1 Equivalent

We are seeking an experienced Senior Dynamics CRM Software Engineer / Developer for a Federal Government digital transformation program.

This is a senior hands-on development role working within a multidisciplinary Agile team to deliver new business solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure and modern Microsoft development technologies.

The Role

You will work closely with developers, architects, business users and project stakeholders to design, develop and enhance Dynamics 365 solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and enhance solutions with a solid focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM

- Provide Dynamics 365-specific technical recommendations and solution advice

- Configure and customise Dynamics 365 Customer Service

- Extend and automate Microsoft Dataverse

- Develop solutions using C#, .NET Core, JavaScript and TypeScript

- Develop Dynamics 365 plugins and JavaScript customisations

- Build solutions using Power Automate, Business Process Flows and Business Rules

- Develop using Power Apps and Power Pages

- Integrate solutions using Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps and Web APIs

- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting and investigation of technical issues

- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across applications, APIs and integrations

- Work closely with business users, developers, architects and project stakeholders

- Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and team capability

Skills & Experience

To be successful,



you should have strong demonstrated experience in:

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dynamics CRM development

- Dynamics 365 Customer Service

- Dynamics 365 configuration and customisation

- Microsoft Dataverse

- C# and .NET Core

- JavaScript and TypeScript

- Dynamics 365 plugins

- Power Automate

- Business Process Flows and Business Rules

- Power Apps and Power Pages

- Azure Function Apps and Logic Apps

- Web API development and integration

- Secure software development principles

- Identifying, assessing and remediating application and API security vulnerabilities

- Technical troubleshooting and problem solving

- Strong technical and business communication skills

Tertiary qualifications in an ICT-related field or relevant industry certifications are required.

Experience with Azure DevOps build and release pipelines, ASP.NET Core, ReactJS and Agile/Scrum delivery will be highly regarded.

Contract Details

Locations: ACT, NSW, VIC or QLD
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - currently 3 days per week in the office
Expected Start: 2 November 2026
Initial Contract: 6 months
Extension: Possible additional 6 months
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
Level: Senior / EL1 equivalent

Applicants must have Australian Government Baseline security clearance.

The successful candidate will also be required to undergo the agency's pre-employment screening.
