We're looking for an experienced Storesperson / Trade Counter professional to join a well-established steel and industrial supplies business in Brookvale.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on in the warehouse while also dealing directly with customers. You'll be part of a busy trade environment where no two days are the same, working across customer service, order picking, stock control and warehouse operations.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders across a wide range of products, from small hardware through to structural steel
n
- Serve customers at the trade counter, understand their requirements and assist them with product selection
n
- Check stock availability and provide customers with accurate delivery timeframes
n
- Receive, unload and organise incoming stock
n
- Safely move and store products throughout the warehouse
n
- Assist with loading customer and delivery vehicles
n
- Maintain accurate stock levels and keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised
n
- Work closely with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure customers receive a outstanding experience
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical and confident dealing with customers, with:
n
n
- 2-3+ years' experience in a busy warehouse environment
n
- Experience in hardware, steel, industrial supplies, trade centres, automotive or spare parts highly regarded
n
- Strong customer service and communication skills
n
- Confidence speaking with customers face-to-face and understanding their needs
n
- Good physical fitness and the ability to handle manual tasks
n
- A strong work ethic and willingness to get involved across the warehouse
n
- Forklift Licence highly regarded, but not essential
n
n
