Cold Storage Labourer – Food Manufacturing

We are currently seeking reliable and physically fit Freezer Labourers to join a busy food manufacturing environment. This is a hands‐on role involving the handling and restacking of frozen products within a freezer environment.

About the Role

n

You will be responsible for de‐stacking and restacking frozen pallets to ensure products are stored correctly and pallet space is maximised for transport.

n

The role involves:

n

n
- De‐stacking frozen cartons from pallets after the freezing process
n
- Restacking frozen cartons into a solid and secure formation
n
- Working inside a freezer environment for extended periods
n
- Ensuring pallets are stacked safely and efficiently
n
- Handling cartons and performing repetitive manual tasks
n
- Following workplace health, safety and food‐handling procedures
n
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
n
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production requirements
n

About You

n

We are looking for people who are:

- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual work
n
- Comfortable working in a cold/freezer environment
n
- Reliable, punctual and have a robust work ethic
n
- Able to follow instructions and workplace procedures
n
- Comfortable with manual handling and standing for extended periods
n
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
n
- Previous warehouse, production or food manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
n

n

Forklift licence and experience is highly desirable but not essential, with opportunities for licensed operators to assist with pallet movement.
