Our client is looking to hire an Electrical Service Manager to take ownership of a current electrical service division. You’ll manage a small team of electricians while developing client relationships, winning new work and helping grow the division. The role will report directly to the electrical general manager and will suit someone who is comfortable being hands‑on and working autonomously.
About the Company
This National Electrical Contractor has been growing rapidly in NSW, with the size and scale of their projects almost doubling in the last 3 years. They are now expanding their electrical service division with a strong pipeline of commercial and healthcare work, including large‑scale projects across Sydney. With a broader business across electrical, mechanical and fire services, they are looking for someone to take ownership and help grow the division.
About You
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Strong electrical service experience
- Experience managing a small team of electricians
- Commercial service experience across buildings, facilities, offices, healthcare or similar
- Strong client management and relationship‑building skills
- Existing industry contacts and a network of clients would be highly advantageous
- Comfortable working autonomously
- Can‑do attitude and willing to be hands‑on when required
- Full drivers licence
What You’ll be Doing
- Take ownership of the new electrical service division
- Portfolio of works across Western and greater Sydney
- Manage a team of 2-4 electricians
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify new service opportunities and grow the client base
- Oversee day‑to‑day service delivery
- Be hands‑on with electrical work when required, particularly while the division grows
- Help develop and grow the division with the support of the wider business
