The Role

The Role Greenfields Primary School (PS) is seeking enthusiastic, highly capable and collaborative classroom teachers to join our team in 2027.

- are passionate about making a genuine difference for students

- have ability to use assessment and student achievement data to identify learning needs,



differentiate instruction and monitor student progress.
- have strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver engaging, appropriately challenging learning experiences for middle and upper primary students.
- commitment to working collaboratively within year-level and whole-school teams, including shared planning, moderation and professional learning.
- able to build positive and respectful relationships with students, colleagues, families and the wider school community.
- willing to contribute positively to whole-school improvement priorities and maintain high expectations for student behaviour, engagement and achievement.

Greenfields PS has a strong focus on consistent, evidence-informed classroom practice. Our whole-school approach includes explicit instruction, structured literacy and numeracy teaching, daily review and literacy warm-ups, and the purposeful use of assessment data to inform teaching.

Applicants with experience in, or a willingness to develop their knowledge of, approaches and programs such as Sounds-Write, Heggerty, The Syntax Project, Tracks to Literacy, The Writing Revolution, General Knowledge units, literacy warm-ups and the Elementary Maths Program (EMP) would be well suited to our school context. We recognise that applicants may not have experience with every program currently used at Greenfields. More significant is a willingness to learn, work collaboratively, respond to coaching and feedback, and contribute to a consistent whole-school approach. We are particularly interested in teachers who bring energy,



professionalism and a strong work ethic to their classroom while understanding that successful teaching is built on both high-quality instruction and strong relationships.
