Programmed Skilled Workforce is partnering with a global leader in height safety and fall protection systems, to recruit a Warehouse Storeperson / Forklift Operator for their QLD operation in Luscombe.

This is a hands-on warehouse position suited to someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in getting the job done accurately and safely, and is comfortable working independently when required.

About the Role

n

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day warehouse operation across picking, packing, receiving, dispatch and forklift duties.

n

While forklift operation is an important part of the position, the majority of the role will be focused on picking, packing and general warehouse activities.

n

You will work closely with the wider team to ensure stock is received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and on time.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
n
- Receive, check and put away incoming stock
n
- Load and unload trucks and containers
n
- Operate an LF forklift safely and efficiently
n
- Move and handle long-length materials, including products up to 6 metres
n
- Prepare orders for dispatch
n
- Assist with freight and delivery requirements
n
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stocktakes/cycle counts
n
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe
n
- Follow company safety, quality and warehouse procedures
n
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
n




- Work independently when required while contributing to the wider warehouse team
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Current QLD (Or Australian Equivalent) Driver's License
n
- Previous warehouse, stores, logistics or dispatch experience
n
- Experience operating a forklift safely and confidently
n
- Experience handling long or bulky materials, ideally up to 6 metres
n
- A strong work ethic and sense of urgency
n
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
n
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
n
- A safety-first approach
n
- Good communication and teamwork skills
n
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
n
- Previous experience with ERP or warehouse systems would be advantageous
n
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, aluminium or similar environments would be beneficial, but is not essential.
