Our Finance / Accounts Manager needs some extra support!

We are a growing, family-owned transport business seeking a motivated and experienced Finance / Accounts Manager to join our team.

n

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong financial management skills, excellent attention to detail and solid experience within the transport industry.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Managing payroll functions accurately and on time
n
- Overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable
n
- Monitoring and analysing cash flow
n
- Preparing financial reports and reconciliations
n
- Liaising with the Office Manager and external Accountant
n
- Assisting with budgeting and financial planning
n




- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance
n
- Providing support to the Finance / Accounts function as required
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Accounts Manager or similar role
n
- Transport industry preferred, not essential.
n
- Strong knowledge of payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable
n
- Ability to analyse financial data and cash flow
n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
n
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
n
- Proficient in accounting software MYOB and Microsoft Office
n
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
n
- Adaptable and willing to provide leave cover when required
n
