Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a strong customer focus to fill the role of a Theatre Assistant on apermanent, full-time basis.

About the Role

n

As a Theatre Assistant, you will be working in the theatre department with responsibilities including:

n

n
- Working with and assisting clinical staff.
n
- Setting up consumables and other specialty stock toensuretheatres are set up for surgical procedures and equipment has been checked.
n
- Maintaining high standards of infection control through environmental cleaning of the operating theatre and equipment.
n
- Assisting with the safe positioning of patients for surgical procedures under the direction of clinical staff.
n

n

About You

n

An interest in patient care is essential to succeed in this role. You will have excellent communication skills and a willingness to develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures. You will be a motivated, positive individual and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

You will also bring:

- Ability to work effective within a team environment and independently

- Excellent patient and customer service focus
n
- Available to work afternoon shifts.
n




- Certificate III or Certificate IV Level in relatable field or AIN Certificate (Desirable)
n
- Prior experience in a similar role (Desirable)
