Mi Scusi Food is currently seeking enthusiastic and professional Casual Function Managers to join our growing team, leading front-of-house catering operations and ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional food and beverage experiences across weddings, corporate functions, private events and special occasions throughout Perth and Western Australia.

About the Role

n

As a Mi Scusi Function Manager (FM), you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of catered events from start to finish. Acting as the primary on-site representative of Mi Scusi Food, you will coordinate staff, manage service delivery, liaise with clients and suppliers, and ensure every event is executed to the highest standard.

n

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced event environment.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Lead and supervise front-of-house event staff

n

Coordinate event setup, service and pack-down

n

Liaise with clients, vendors and venue contacts

n

Manage service timelines and event logistics

n

Ensure Mi Scusi food, beverage and service standards are maintained

n

Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally

n

Ensure compliance with RSA and workplace procedures

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

Minimum 6 months hospitality management experience

n

Experience in catering, events, functions or venue operations

n

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

n

Strong leadership and communication skills

n

Excellent organisation and problem-solving abilities

n

Professional presentation and a positive attitude

n

Ability to work evenings, weekdays,



and weekends as required

n

WA Approved Manager's Card (preferred but not essential)

n

Unencumbered Australian driver's license and reliable transport

n

Previous experience managing weddings, corporate functions or catered events

n

You are calm under pressure, lead by example, take initiative and genuinely enjoy creating exceptional guest experiences.
