Our purpose is to improve housing outcomes for Australians. When you join us, you're not just building a career, you're helping build a better Australia.
The Senior Change Manager will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of change management activities for this important project.
Reporting to the Director, Home Ownership Business Systems, this role is responsible for validating and refining the existing Change Impact Assessment (CIA), developing a Change Management Plan (CMP), identifying and managing change-related risks, and ensuring stakeholder engagement, communications, training, readiness and adoption activities are delivered in line with Home Ownership’s Change Management Framework (CMF).
Working closely with internal teams and the participating lender panel, the role will support a smooth transition to the future state by ensuring impacted stakeholders understand the change, are prepared for new ways of working, and are supported through implementation and transition to business-as-usual operations.

Key responsibilities in this role include:

Leading stakeholder engagement, communications, training, readiness and adoption activities to ensure impacted users and stakeholders understand the changes and are prepared for implementation.
Validating and refining the existing CIA and developing a CMP by testing assumptions, confirming impacts with stakeholders, and updating the artefacts to accurately reflect business,
user and operational impacts and change outcomes arising from the project.
Assessing and documenting the inherent risks associated with the project, recommending appropriate mitigation controls and evaluating residual risk following implementation.
Preparing and presenting regular change and RAID reporting to project governance forums, providing insights on stakeholder readiness, key risks, issues, dependencies, mitigation activities and overall change progress.
Applying Home Ownership’s CMF to assess, manage and deliver change activities associated with the project, ensuring alignment with project objective, agreed change outcomes and governance requirements.
Facilitating targeted workshops and engagement sessions with internal teams, subject matter experts and participating lenders to validate impacts, assumptions, risks and readiness requirements associated with the project.
Supporting implementation, pilot, deployment and transition-to-business-as-usual activities, including post-go-live change support and lessons learned.
Monitoring and reporting on change adoption, readiness and effectiveness for the project, recommending corrective actions where required to achieve agreed project and change outcomes and, where capacity allows during the 6-month engagement, supporting other Home Ownership change priorities.
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum five years’ experience leading and delivering Change Management Plans for large scale system, technology uplift or digital transformation projects including stakeholder engagement, communications, training,
readiness and adoption activities
Sound understanding of change management principles, methodologies and frameworks, with demonstrated ability to translate technical change into business, operational and user impacts.
