About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our prawn processing teams at our Proserpine & Mission Beach facilities. This is a critical leadership role with significant autonomy, responsible for driving safe, efficient operations while developing a high-performing team culture.

You will oversee day-to-day site performance across safety, quality, production and people outcomes, champion continuous improvement, and play a key role in building workforce capability. This role offers a genuine pathway to broader operational management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead, motivate and develop processing operators and team leaders to achieve production targets.
n
- Oversee two production sites, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
n
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
n
- Coach and train team members to build capability and high performance.

- Troubleshoot issues and maintain efficient workflow.
n

About You

n

n
- 3+ years management experience in FMCG manufacturing or similar environment.
n
- Strong understanding of safety, quality and production performance drivers.
n
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop teams.
n
- Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
n
- Self-motivated, adaptable and results-focused.
n
- Forklift licence (desirable).
