This is an opportunity for an experienced recruiter to help shape a growing business at the intersection of Defence, national security, technology, and sovereign industrial capability. The company is an experienced recruitment and workforce solutions business with a strong contractor base, government and commercial relationships, and a growing presence across Technology and Defence. Through Sovereign Capability Group, we are also connected to broader capability areas, including the defence industry, engineering, mission-critical technology, AI, nuclear supply chain services, and sovereign capability programs.

We are looking for a commercially minded Recruitment Consultants with recruitment experience to develop client relationships, identify workforce needs, build trusted talent networks and convert market opportunities into sustainable revenue.
n
The Role
n
You will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of clients across technology, consulting, financial services, healthcare, retail and emerging AI businesses. This will include existing relationships, warm introductions and proactive business development across enterprise organisations, scale-ups, consultancies and technology vendors.
n
With multiple opportunities available,
you will manage permanent and contract recruitment engagements across one of our specialist practice areas, including Cyber Security, Data & AI, Cloud & Infrastructure, and Project Services, partnering with leading organisations to build high-performing teams.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Build and manage client relationships
n
- Develop a territory plan covering existing accounts, target clients and priority relationships
n
- Generate new business through disciplined sales activity, referrals, account development and market mapping
n
- Identify, attract and manage high-quality professionals across permanent and contract markets
n
- Develop and maintain candidate networks
n
- Work closely with clients to understand workforce planning, skills requirements and hiring priorities
n
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from client qualification through to offer, placement and onboarding
n
- Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline, activity and account information
n
- Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies and talent availability
n
- Contribute to the growth of a specialist recruitment practice in Sydney
n
n
About You
n
You may already be an experienced technology recruiter or come from a recruitment background with exposure to data, digital, software engineering, cloud or analytics recruitment.
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
- Experience in recruitment, account management or business development
n
- Experience recruiting within Technology or Professional Services markets
n
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with both technical and senior business stakeholders
n
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client and candidate relationships
n
- Commercial discipline with the ability to manage activity, pipeline and revenue outcomes
n
- A proactive and consultative approach to business development
n
- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
n
- High personal standards, resilience and a willingness to build market presence
n
- Existing networks within Technology sectors will be highly regarded
n
n
