We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large-scale finance transformation initiative within a complex operational environment.
This is a hands-on contract role requiring someone who can quickly establish structure, drive governance, and work closely with senior Finance and Operations stakeholders to deliver key planning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Map current-state finance processes end-to-end, documenting process owners, handoffs, systems, controls and improvement opportunities.
- Establish and manage PMO governance across critical planning cycles.
- Maintain the plan of record, key milestones, dependencies and delivery cadence.
- Track risks, issues, actions and decisions, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution.
- Develop executive-level reporting and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate planning inputs across Finance and Operations teams to ensure deadlines are met.
- Drive consistency, accountability and transparency across the program.
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager or PMO Lead within a large enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost centre management and/or procure-to-pay.
- Demonstrated experience mapping business or finance processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Experience establishing PMO frameworks, governance structures and reporting from scratch.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build reporting and tracking tools independently.
- Robust stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leaders and executives.
- Comfortable working autonomously and delivering value from day one.
