About The Role

- Deliver induction and onboarding programs for new Room Attendants

- Provide practical, hands-on training in guest room servicing, cleaning techniques, and luxury presentation standards

- Coach team members on productivity, efficiency, and quality expectations

- Train staff in the safe use of chemicals, equipment, and housekeeping procedures

- Deliver workplace health and safety, manual handling, and infection control training

- Conduct room audits and quality assessments, providing coaching and feedback where required

- Partner with Supervisors and Managers to identify training needs and skill gaps





- Facilitate refresher training and continuous improvement initiatives

- Maintain accurate training records, competency assessments, and sign-off documentation

- Develop and improve training materials, SOPs, and housekeeping guides

- Support succession planning and development of future Supervisors and Team Leaders

- Act as a trusted point of support and subject matter expert for housekeeping teams

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll be an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for developing people and maintaining exceptional standards.

You understand what outstanding housekeeping looks like and have the ability to transfer your knowledge to others through practical coaching, mentoring, and ongoing support.

Essential Requirements:

- Monday to Friday availability

- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping

- Experience in a training, supervisory, team leader, or quality-focused role

- Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards and procedures

- Excellent communication and coaching skills

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Ability to train people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds

- Sound understanding of WHS, manual handling, and safe work practices

- Robust organisational and record-keeping skills

- Full working rights in Australia

Highly Regarded:

- Experience within 4-star or 5-star hotel environments

- Experience delivering structured training programs

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)

- Experience conducting housekeeping quality audits and room inspections

- Experience developing SOPs, training manuals, or competency frameworks
