Velox Security, a division of the Velox Group Pty Ltd, is an Australian-owned private company established in May 2021. We provide comprehensive, customized security solutions with a focus on delivering 360° protection for our clients. Our approach is rooted in understanding the unique needs of each business to develop tailored security strategies and solutions.
Our core business is providing mobile patrols, alarm responses and guard services throughout the western suburbs of Sydney. Velox Security office is located in Seven Hills NSW. The office is manned 24/7 by experienced Call Centre Operators to support the Operational team.
The Role
We have multiple positions available for experienced mobile patrol officers working on a casual, part time and permanent basis working 12 hours shifts. Th role includes conducting scheduled and adhoc mobile patrols and emergency alarm responses.
The Task
The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:
Responding to alarm activations in accordance with a specified time
Incident report writing and using internal applications for patrol verification
Conduct lockups and Perimeter checks
Work effectively in a team environment
Prepare and submit accurate and timely incident reports
Navigating between sites in a timely manner
Working 12 hours shifts, inclusive of weekends and public holidays
Ability to work in Australia with no restrictions
Hold a current Class 1A NSW Security License
Hold a current Employer status Working with Children certificate
Hold a current unrestricted Driver's License
Previous experience in mobile patrols (Preferred)
Current First Aid Certificate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
Ability to use electronic applications.

Remuneration will be paid based on the experience, knowledge and skillset
