Yarra Bend Golf is looking for a customer service star to join our team for the upcoming Christmas and summer period.

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and reliable person who genuinely enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering great customer experiences.

This is a casual position from October through to February, with the potential for the right person to remain with the Yarra Bend Golf team beyond the busy period. There will also be opportunities for team members who demonstrate the right attitude, capability and commitment to take on additional responsibility and develop their leadership skills.

We are looking for someone who can help us continue to take Yarra Bend Golf to the next level.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an important part of our front-of-house team, working across the Pro Shop, Café and wider golf facility.

You will be responsible for delivering a consistently high level of service while helping keep the operation running smoothly, particularly during our busiest periods.

Key responsibilities include:

- Welcoming and assisting members, customers and visitors in a professional, friendly and helpful manner
- Providing accurate information about our golf course, facilities, programs and services




- Operating point-of-sale systems and processing bookings, retail and food and beverage transactions
- Developing a strong knowledge of our golf products, services and facility
- Recommending and promoting retail products and services
- Assisting with café food and beverage preparation and service
- Maintaining the presentation, cleanliness and functionality of the Pro Shop, Café and surrounding customer areas
- Responding professionally to customer enquiries, feedback and concerns
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable customer experience
- Taking initiative and assisting wherever required across the facility

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make a positive contribution to the team.

You will ideally have:

- Previous customer service experience
- Experience in hospitality, café or food and beverage service, with barista experience highly regarded
- A genuine passion for customer service and working with people
- Confidence working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- The ability to remain calm, professional and composed when the pressure is on
- Strong multitasking, prioritisation and time-management skills
- A positive,



energetic and professional attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Initiative and a willingness to get involved rather than waiting to be asked
- A strong sense of responsibility, reliability and accountability
- A desire to learn, contribute and develop within a growing team

Availability Is Essential

October through February is one of our busiest periods of the year, and reliable availability is essential.

Applicants must be available to work weekends, evenings and public holidays throughout this period.
