HCPA is expanding its consulting services into online wagering, sportsbook and trade promotions. We’re looking for an industry specialist who can work directly with clients to help them plan, set up and launch their businesses.
This is a hands‑on, client‑facing advisory role. You’ll guide clients through the practical decisions involved in launching, while helping us build the materials and processes that support a consistent service.
What you’ll do
- Consult directly with clients from initial scoping through to launch.
- Advise on licensing, compliance, responsible gambling, AML/CTF, platforms, payments and operating requirements relevant to each engagement.
- Review and improve our existing knowledge handbook and consulting materials.
- Develop practical templates, checklists, policies and setup workflows.
- Map the providers and partnerships clients may need,
from platform and payment providers to KYC and data services.
- Train our consulting team and act as an escalation point for complex questions.
What you’ll bring
- Hands‑on experience in online wagering, sportsbook, gambling services or trade promotions.
- Practical knowledge of Australian industry requirements and how businesses operate from setup through to launch.
- The ability to explain complex requirements clearly and advise clients with confidence.
- Experience building processes, compliance materials or operational frameworks.
Consulting experience is valuable, but we’re also keen to hear from industry operators who have helped build or launch these businesses and enjoy working with clients.
