An iconic Australian organisation is seeking an experienced Portfolio Planning Lead to manage the intake, prioritisation and coordination of technology demand across multiple delivery teams.
This is not a traditional Project Manager role. Rather than owning the delivery of one individual project, you will provide portfolio-level visibility and governance, ensuring new initiatives are properly assessed, prioritised and aligned with available capacity and strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

- Manage the intake and triage of new technology initiatives and business requests
- Develop and maintain prioritisation frameworks that support informed investment decisions
- Coordinate delivery demand, dependencies and capacity across multiple teams
- Maintain visibility of the delivery pipeline, risks, constraints and competing priorities
- Facilitate portfolio planning, governance and prioritisation forums
- Translate business requirements into clear technology demand
- Partner with delivery, product, architecture and business teams to improve planning outcomes




- Prepare portfolio reporting and recommendations for senior and executive stakeholders
- Identify bottlenecks and support the resolution of cross-team delivery challenges
- Continuously improve demand-management and portfolio-governance processes

What you'll bring

- Strong experience in demand management, portfolio planning, portfolio delivery or product operations
- Demonstrated experience managing intake, triage and prioritisation processes
- Experience with capacity planning and delivery pipeline management
- Strong understanding of portfolio governance and prioritisation frameworks
- Ability to coordinate work and dependencies across multiple delivery teams
- Valuable technical literacy and the ability to translate between business and technology stakeholders
- Strong relationship management, communication and influencing skills
- Confidence working with senior and executive stakeholdersExperience within a complex enterprise technology environment
