Casual Opportunity

Play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff and College community.

About the role

Working as part of the College support team, you will:

- Complete scheduled cleaning duties across classrooms, offices, staff areas, toilets and other allocated facilities.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across the College.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust and disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas as required.
- Empty bins and replenish cleaning and bathroom supplies.
- Safely use and care for College cleaning equipment and products.
- Report hazards, damage, maintenance issues or other concerns to the Supervisor and follow College health and safety procedures.

About you

You are a reliable, positive and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

You will bring:

- Previous cleaning experience, preferably within a school, education facility or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.




- Valuable time management and the ability to complete tasks according to agreed priorities.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A friendly, professional and respectful manner.
- A positive and flexible approach to your work.
- The ability to follow established cleaning procedures and health and safety requirements.
- The ability to identify and report hazards, maintenance issues or other concerns appropriately.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy of students, staff and families.
- A genuine commitment to the Christian faith and the ethos and values of South Coast Baptist College.
