We are seeking an experienced OTR tyre fitter to support the heavy mobile equipment fleet on a hard rock mining operation in Queensland.

You will be responsible for the safe removal, inspection, fitting, rotation and pressure management of earthmover and off-the-road tyres and wheel assemblies on haul trucks, loaders, graders, water carts, service vehicles and, where applicable, underground loaders and trucks.

ABOUT THE ROLE

North Queensland Hard Rock Mine

$90 per hour + superannuation on all hours

2/1 Roster - Flights from Brisbane, Townsville & Cairns available

Superannuation is paid on ALL worked hours

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Australian Trade Recognized Certificate/s

Minimum 3+ years' experience working as a heavy vehicle fitter

Tyre Changing Certification & Experience within the mining industry

Ability to work autonomously

HR driver's licence

High Risk Work Licence - Forklift

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen + MMQ Screening

National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one

A strong focus on safety and the ability to work in a team
