Northwest Helicopters is a growing operator providing aerial services including feral animal control, charter and low-level survey work. We value precision, safety, and professionalism. As we expand, we are looking for a dedicated, safety-conscious and vibrant R44 Helicopter Pilot to join our team.

The Role n

This position involves a variety of operational flying, including:

n

n
- Feral animal control (shooting and flying)
n
- Charter including scenic flights
n
- Maintain aircraft and hanger duties
n
- General R44 operations in regional and remote areas
n

n

This is a full-time role with most flying conducted locally , so you’ll be home most nights

n

n
- Valid Commercial Pilot Licence – Helicopter (CPL-H)
n
- R44 Type Rating
n
- 500 TT + hrs minimum for this position
n
- Demonstrated low-level flight experience
n




- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
n
- Completed Dangerous Goods (DG) awareness course
n
- Valid First Aid certificate
n
- Valid ASIC Card
n
- Current DAMP Test
n
- Well developed communication skills and situational awareness
n
- Ability to work independently and in remote field conditions
n
- Low level flying eg; aerial culling, mustering, surveys.
n
- Firearms licence/Firearms Experience
n
- Basic mechanical knowledge/helicopter servicing Eg; 50 hr Maintenance Authority
n
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork
n
- Willingness to assist with ground operations when required
n
- Need to be able to work independently and be always mindful of the companies best interests.
