The Role
We are recruiting an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager based at our Shepparton head office in Northern Victoria. You’ll manage our accounts receivable function including supervision of one other team member. This position is a permanent full-time position to be worked Monday-Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Process: Management of our accounts receivable/debtors function for our full business
- Credit management: Controlling our aged debtors, maintaining credit limits, collecting overdue debt and escalating through legal channels as required
- Data Accuracy: Reconciliation of receipts and daily takings to maximise accuracy and ensure all amounts are accounted for
- Month-End Processes:
End of month close off, reconciliations and reporting including follow up of correct allocations and short-payments
- Innovation: Ensuring all processes are conducted in an effective manner and spotting areas for process improvement
- Relationship Management: Working with customers and staff to resolve disputes and ensure efficient running of the debtors process
Key Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in a credit management or an accounts receivable role
- Attention to Detail: A high level for attention to detail aiding effective reconciliations and solid problem-solving
- Systems: Strong computer skills in accounting programs and Excel
- Mindset: An energetic and positive outlook with a customer-first proactive attitude
- Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to have tough conversations with customers.
