StreetFX is looking for an Automotive Parts Sales & Customer Service team member to join our growing team in Darra.

No automotive sales or parts interpreting experience? No problem. We’ll train you.

What we’re really looking for is someone who knows and loves cars, communicates well, enjoys helping people and wants to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.

Your knowledge might come from working on your own cars, modifying them, motorsport, 4x4ing, workshops, study, helping mates with builds or spending far too much time researching parts online.

If you know cars, we can teach you the sales side.

The Role

This isn’t just answering phones and processing orders. You’ll help customers work out what they need, research the right products and provide genuine solutions.

You’ll be involved in:

- Helping customers identify suitable parts and vehicle upgrades

- Researching products, applications and vehicle fitment

- Providing pricing, stock and availability information

- Comparing products and explaining options

- Preparing quotes and following up customers

- Processing and tracking orders

- Liaising with suppliers and our warehouse

- Managing backorders, freight delays and ETAs

- Assisting with returns, warranties and cancellations

- Solving problems when things don’t go to plan

- Communicating with customers across phone, email, SMS and live chat

- Assisting with picking, packing and customer pickups when required

One customer might know the exact part number they need. The next might simply ask, “I want my car to handle better — what should I do?”

Your job is to ask the right questions, research the options and help them find the right solution.

What We're Looking For

You don’t need to be a mechanic or experienced salesperson, but you do need a genuine automotive background and a good understanding of cars.

Ideally,



you’ll be comfortable talking about areas such as:

- Engines and common components

- Turbos and forced induction

- Intake and exhaust systems

- Suspension and handling

- Brakes

- Wheels and tyres

- Driveline components

- Performance modifications

- Vehicle models and variants

- 4x4 accessories and upgrades

You’ll also bring:

- Great communication and people skills

- Confidence speaking with customers

- Strong computer and online research skills

- Attention to detail

- Good organisation and time management

- The ability to juggle multiple customer enquiries

- A willingness to learn and ask questions

- Reliability and a strong work ethic

- A genuine interest in building a career in automotive

Previous experience in automotive parts, workshops, dealerships, performance cars, motorsport, 4x4, automotive retail, customer service, e-commerce or sales is highly regarded, but not essential.

- Automotive sales and customer service

- Asking the right qualifying questions

- Consultative selling without being pushy

- Quotes and customer follow-up

- Product and fitment research

- Handling objections and difficult conversations

- StreetFX systems and supplier platforms

- Order, supplier and freight processes
