The role
This Associate role sits within a small deal team and covers the full investment cycle, working directly with the Partners:
- Investment ideas and origination: Research and analyse markets and sectors, identify and assess potential targets, and help shape how opportunities are pursued.
- Transaction execution: Take co-responsibility for financial and market due diligence, manage advisers and workstreams, build and own the financial model, support debt financing and deal structuring, and prepare the papers that drive the team's go/no-go decisions.
- Completion: Take ownership of completion mechanics, including funds flow and step plans.
- Portfolio support: Work alongside management teams on performance improvement and growth initiatives, and support bolt-on acquisitions and exit processes.
- Fund reporting: Play a lead role in quarterly investor reporting and support Fund board materials.

About you
We're looking for someone who is:
- Intellectually curious, with a structured mind and comfort with ambiguity
- Strong emotional intelligence and highly communicative, with a humble, collaborative approach
- A strong academic record and typically 2-4 years' experience in top tier investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, and sound commercial judgement
- Sydney-based, or willing to relocate
