The core of the position involves delivery, setup, collection, cleaning and maintenance of our portable ensuites, showers and luxury restroom trailers.

However, we're also very interested in what else you can bring to the business.

n

We are deliberately keeping this role broad. The right person may come from transport, construction, maintenance, caravans, manufacturing, fibreglass, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, workshop or supervisory backgrounds.

Driver / Operations & Maintenance

Hands-On Role | Portable Bathroom Hire | Brisbane

n

The day-to-day role

n

Your regular duties will include:

n

n
- Delivering and collecting portable ensuites, showers and restroom trailers
n
- Setting up equipment correctly at customer sites
n
- Cleaning and preparing equipment between hires
n
- Loading, unloading and moving equipment
n
- General repairs and preventative maintenance
n
- Checking equipment before and after hire
n
- Maintaining vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment
n
- Completing job records and inspections
n
- Dealing professionally with customers
n
- Helping maintain an organised and efficient yard and workshop
n
- Fully training, uniforms, tools, phone and associated equipment supplied.

This is a hands-on position.

We're particularly interested in applicants with experience in one or more of the following:

- Forklift operation – highly desirable
n
- Fibreglass repairs and fabrication
n
- Caravan, RV, marine or trailer repairs
n
- Building and fitting out recent portable ensuites or similar equipment
n
- Plumbing
n
- Electrical or 12V systems
n
- Mechanical repairs
n
- Welding and fabrication
n
- Cabinetry, joinery or fit-out work
n
- Trailer servicing and repairs
n
- Truck-mounted crane operation
n
- Workshop or yard supervisionLeading and supervising staff
n
- Transport and delivery scheduling
n
- Operations management
n
- Manufacturing and quality control
n

You don't need to have all of these skills.

n

We want to know what you are good at and how those skills could contribute to the business.

Forklift experience

n

A current forklift licence and practical forklift experience are highly desirable.

n

We regularly move and handle hire equipment in our yard, so someone who is already confident and competent operating a forklift would be particularly valuable.

Where could the role lead?

That depends partly on you.

n

For someone with strong practical or trade skills, the position could expand into equipment repairs, fibreglass work, maintenance and the fit-out of new portable ensuite equipment.

n

For someone with leadership and organisational experience, there may be opportunities to take greater responsibility for staff, scheduling, yard operations, workshop activities and day-to-day operations.

n

Remuneration

Remuneration will depend on experience, qualifications and the additional skills you bring to the role.

We're open to considering applicants at different experience levels—from a reliable driver/yard person through to someone with significant trade, supervisory or operational experience.
