About Stash + Lode

Stash + Lode is one of the Sunshine Coast's leading storage businesses. From the Cooroy depot we deliver and collect Mobile Storage Units (MSUs) across Noosa Shire and Gympie Shire, run fixed storage facilities, and operate a labour-hire (removals) assist service. We are growing: a third depot is opening in Caboolture in early 2027, extending reach into the Moreton Bay region, and we are building a leaner, more systems-driven business. Every recent MSU on hire starts with a conversation - and that conversation is this role.

The role

Our Head of Sales & Customer Care is going on parental leave in early 2027. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract covering her leave, running from mid-to-late November 2026 through to early 2028. You will have a structured handover with her before she goes on leave, then take full ownership of the sales desk. The job is converting enquiries into customers: fast responses, accurate quotes, persistent follow-up and a clean pipeline. You will report directly to the company Directors. It is an office-based role at the Cooroy depot – there is no working from home – alongside a small office team and a crew of drivers.

What you will do

Own every inbound enquiry – phone, email, web, SMS and social – and respond fast enough to win it

Quote storage, mobile storage and removals jobs accurately and follow every quote through to a decision

Hit monthly targets for current MSU rentals, removals bookings and quote-to-sale conversion

Run the sales pipeline in state-of-the-art CRM, logistics and storage management platforms – nothing falls through the cracks





Support the sales launch of the new Caboolture depot as it opens

Maintain relationships with referral partners – real estate agents, property managers, removalists and brokers

Give marketing partner feedback on lead quality and what is converting

Report weekly to the Directors on enquiries, conversion and revenue

Look after existing customers – renewals, add-ons (packaging, padlocks, insurance) and follow-up on overdue accounts

Handle the sales administration that comes with the above: invoices, deposits, bookings and customer records

Who we are looking for

You love sales and are passionate about the sales process – the enquiry, the quote, the follow-up, the close

A proven salesperson – you have carried a target and hit it, ideally in a phone/inbound environment (storage, removals, real estate, hire, trades services, travel, telco or similar)

Confident on the phone, quick and clear in writing, comfortable closing

Organised and detail-driven – quotes, follow-ups and records are right the first time

Comfortable learning and working across state-of-the-art CRM, logistics and storage management platforms, plus the usual office and social media business tools

Commercially minded – you understand margin, conversion and why a lead costs money

Self-starting and accountable – you will have real autonomy and you will be measured on results

No formal qualifications required. Storage or removals industry experience is a plus, not a must
