At CED Services Group, we deliver mechanical control wiring and electrical works for small to medium commercial and industrial clients, plus high-end residential electrical projects, across Victoria.

The role: a 50/50 split

50% electrical, covering service work for our commercial and industrial clients and high-end residential projects

50% mechanical control wiring on small to medium projects, working with established refrigeration partners across Victoria

Real work-life balance
Unlike a lot of companies hiring right now, we don't expect you to work 60 hours a week. You'll work reasonable hours and get 1 RDO every month, on a day you choose. Take a long weekend, go to the school concert, get out on the bike. You'll have more time for family, hobbies and actually switching off.

Genuine skill development
We'll train you in mechanical control wiring, a niche skill that makes you more valuable and gives you a clear path forward in a growing market. Down the track, there's also the prospect to cross-train in fire protection (FIP panels, detection and speakers) with our sister company, CED Fire (www.cedfire.com.au).

and there aren't many electricians who specialise in it. That's where you come in.

What you'll do

Fault-finding, repairs, maintenance and small installs on service calls

Electrical works on high-end residential projects, where quality finishes and attention to detail matter

Mechanical control wiring on small to medium projects

Varied work where every day is different, and you'll understand how the whole system works, not just your small part of it

Opportunity to cross-train in fire protection systems with CED Fire as you develop

Current driver's licence

Service, residential or controls experience is a bonus but not required. We'll teach you.
