The Role:

We’re looking for a Billing Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. and assist with the accurate and timely billing of customers. The role involves managing all aspects of client communications, customer activation, billing processes, payments, and service order activities, including handling exceptions and generating reports for Tally Group clients.

You’ll report to our Head of Managed Services, also in Brisbane, and will work with a Managed Services team across Brisbane and Melbourne. As well as supporting our customers, there is scope for the right person to be involved in mentoring and training other team members.

Key responsibilities include:

- Invoice Management – Collect, review, and distribute invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards and regulations.
- Data Analysis and Solutions Implementation -Identify trends and insights to support recommendations and develop proactive strategies to enhance data management and reporting capabilities.




- Daily Reporting -Monitor and report on client portfolio billing data to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
- Work Queue Management: - Oversee task assignments and manage exceptions to adhere to internal and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Client Assistance –Provide effective support to clients in managing their daily business requirements.

About you:

Our perfect person has experience in energy retail operations in the Australian market and is familiar with retail billing systems and processes. Efficiency is your middle name; you can manage billing defects like a pro and have a knack for efficiently responding to urgent systems issues. You’re adept at working with data and investigating issues to get to the root of and solve problems.

You’ll be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, love taking initiative and take pride in hitting meeting SLAs and delighting our customers.
