About the Role:

n

We are seeking a versatile GIS, Drone, and Survey Specialist to help drive and expand our drone-assisted engineering services. This multi-skilled role combines aerial mapping, geospatial data management, and site surveying to support our mining, energy, and infrastructure projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

n

Plan and execute UAV/drone capture missions for structural inspection, site mapping, and spatial data collection.

n

Process, analyse, and integrate drone payload data, photogrammetry, LiDAR, and spatial datasets into actionable engineering deliverables.

n

Conduct site-based surveying activities to support engineering design, asset management, and monitoring.

n

Manage GIS databases and spatial layers, ensuring data integrity and alignment with project scope.

n

Collaborate with engineering teams to push the capabilities of drone-assisted inspections and spatial reporting.

n

Qualifications and Experience:

n

Degree or diploma in Surveying, Spatial Science, GIS, or a related field strongly preferred.

n

Remote Pilot Licence (RePL)



with demonstrated commercial drone flight experience.

n

Sound experience using spatial software (ArcGIS, QGIS, Pix4D, Bentley ContextCapture, or similar photogrammetry/LiDAR software).

n

Practical site surveying background using total stations, GNSS, and scan data processing.

n

Background operating across mining, heavy industrial, or infrastructure environments.

n

Exceptional attention to detail and strong technical communication skills.

n
