The Terang Bowls Club is seeking to appoint a playing coach for the upcoming 2026/2027 season. The Club currently has 6 teams in the Warrnambool District Bowls Region (WDPA); 3 in both Weekend and Midweek pennant competitions.

The coach will be responsible for:

n

n
- Structured and planned training sessions.
n
- Preparation of the players for pennant competition.
n
- Assistance in the selection and preparation of all pennant teams.
n
- Developing each player's potential and providing opportunities to learn different team roles.
n
- Providing positive feedback and post-game analysis to the players.
n
- Assistance with player recruitment and retention.
n
- Adherence to player selection guidelines.
n
- Advising both selection and match committee.
n




- Communication with players when moved between grades. (up and down)

Skills and knowledge required for this role:

- Accredited coach certification or the ability to obtain the appropriate
n
- Accreditation prior to appointment.
n
- Playing experience and the ability to perform to high quality levels.
n
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Be enthusiastic, dedicated, versatile, and innovative
n

n

Remuneration: An attractive remuneration package will be available for negotiation based on experience, accreditation, and playing/coach background.
