Known for our quality food, vibrant atmosphere and exceptional service, we are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join our passionate kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated cook who is passionate about food and hospitality to work in a rapid-paced and professional kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Preparing, seasoning, and cooking a variety of high-quality café dishes in accordance with established recipes.
- Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers, and other commercial cooking equipment.
- Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding sauces and garnishes to meet our strict presentation standards.
- Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities and monitoring stock levels.




- Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements and accommodating specific customer requests.
- Maintaining HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards, keeping kitchen work areas and equipment clean and organised.
- Working collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service during busy periods.

Skills and Experience

Qualification in Commercial Cookery. At least 1 year's experience in a fast-paced café, restaurant, or commercial kitchen. Strong knowledge of practical cooking techniques, equipment operation, and kitchen hygiene standards.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume environment. Excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities to support the wider kitchen brigade.
